I am listening to a play by P.J. Wodehouse, an author that I have wished to read. Comedy, which I'm all for, of course. It's a little wierd because the guy is narrating and acting at the same time.

I am mentally exhausted from this day. All because I decided that today was the day to order my computer. Which computer? Should I pay for extra memory? Hard-drive space? the stupid extended warranty? etc.?
all this with a little 3-year-old running in and out of my room insisting "I need help!" (with the train set, that is) or "I want the ball!" or simply taking things like y-connectors, staplers, flashlights, and other random objects that are not appropriate for one of her age off my desk.

So, i ordered a macbook (and an ipod to go with it, i am afraid) ... the fact being that 4 of the 5 GB on my zen micro is full already, with very few of my actual cd's on it.

Computers are difficult and I don't enjoy them.

i'm actually rather fond of my current pc. it's got its terrible quirks that make me so mad, but i've had it for a long time.
