So I think I actually burned my feet on the hot, hot pavement. So that meant more foot baths and all that good stuff. It is good, ja.

I'm off to that town again, that P.T. town dealie, to go shopping with mi madre (what?! tourist!) and eat all that good food, visit old friends ... all that good stuff. And consulting a real estate agent about putting our house on the market.

our beautiful house, the one I was born in and grew up in and all that good stuff. I actually don't mind. I'm okay with it, since I've had 10 years to grow away from that life and move on and all.

Now that I think about it, I had a ton of adult "friends" when I was little. Not that they weren't my friends but... There was Pierr the renter and then friend (and book illustrator); Helga, my mom's German friend who would take me out to dinner and have game nights with me; Jack the renter who also knew some German and was really cool but then moved away; more renters... ; hmm. something to think about.

Anyway, back tomorrow.
